This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and care of your Rival Automatic Steamer/Rice Cooker, Model 4450. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and retain this manual for future reference.

پهرين استعمال کان اڳ
Before using your Rival Automatic Steamer/Rice Cooker for the first time, wash the removable cooking bowl, steamer basket, glass lid, measuring cup, and serving spatula in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp ڪپڙو. پاڻي ۾ مکيه يونٽ نه وسايو.

- Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface.
- Ensure the area around the appliance is clear to allow for proper ventilation.

- Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. Rinse rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice into the removable cooking bowl.
- Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is 1.5 to 2 cups of water per 1 cup of uncooked rice, but always refer to the rice packaging for specific ratios.
- Place the glass lid securely on the cooking bowl.

- Allow the rice to rest on the "WARM" setting for 5-10 minutes after cooking for optimal texture.
- Unplug the unit when serving is complete.
Steaming Food (e.g., Vegetables)
- Add water to the removable cooking bowl (refer to recipe or general steaming guidelines for quantity).
- Place the steamer basket into the cooking bowl, ensuring it sits above the water level.
- Arrange your food (e.g., chopped vegetables) evenly in the steamer basket.
- Place the glass lid securely on the unit.

- Press the control switch down to the "COOK" position. The cook indicator light will illuminate.

- Unplug the unit when steaming is complete.
