- Insert Trash Bag: Line the inner bucket with a standard 13-gallon trash bag. Utilize the bag retention system by tucking the excess bag material into the designated holes or slots on the inner bucket to secure it in place and prevent slippage.

- Using the Step Pedal: Gently press the foot pedal to open the lid. The lid will open smoothly and silently. Release the pedal to allow the lid to close automatically.
