• How often should I replace the sauna stones?

  Sauna stones disintegrate over time due to temperature variations. It is recommended to rearrange them at least once a year and replace any disintegrated stones to maintain optimal airflow and heating efficiency.

• Why does my new Harvia heater smell when turned on?

  It is normal for a new heater and stones to emit a smell during the first use. This is due to protective agents burning off. Ensure the sauna room is efficiently ventilated during the initial heating.

• How do I reset the overheat protector on my electric heater?

  If the overheat protector trips (often due to freezing temperatures during transport or overheating), reset it by pressing the reset button found on the device (typically at the bottom or inside the junction box). The device must be at approximately +18°C (+64°F) to be reset.
