• Is my Lupine light waterproof?

  Lupine lights generally comply with IP67 or IP68 protection classes, meaning they are waterproof and impact-resistant. However, they are not designed as diving lamps and should not be used for continuous underwater operation.

• How do I check the battery capacity?

  On most models like the Rotlicht or SL Mono, the battery level is indicated by status LEDs (color-coded or blinking) when the light is switched on or off. SmartCore batteries also feature a dedicated capacity display.

• Why does my Lupine light dim automatically?

  Lupine lights feature smart temperature management. If the housing becomes too hot during stationary use or low airflow, the light automatically reduces brightness to prevent damage to the LEDs and electronics.

• Can I charge the light while it is in use?

  Yes, many Lupine models allow operation while charging via USB. However, if the power consumption on high brightness settings exceeds the charging current, the battery may still slowly discharge.
