Functional Schematic and Controls

Familiarize yourself with the various ports and controls of your Philips EXP5608 CD player:

1. DC 5V POWER SOCKET: Connect the DC power cable here.

12. PLAY/PAUSE بٽڻ: Short press to pause playback, short press again to resume.
13. +VOLUME KNOB: Turn to increase the volume.
14. -VOLUME KNOB: Turn to decrease the volume.
15. M FUNCTION SWITCH KEY (CD/USB/TF/BLUETOOTH RECEIVER): Short press to switch between CD, USB, TF, and Bluetooth reception modes. Press and hold to exit Bluetooth reception.
16. BLUETOOTH TRANSMISSION KEY: Short press to switch to Bluetooth transmission mode. Long press to exit Bluetooth transmission.

ڊوائيس کي طاقت ڏيڻ

• چارج ڪرڻ: Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V POWER SOCKET (1) and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The POWER INDICATOR LIGHT (2) will glow red during charging and turn off when fully charged.

• آن/بند ڪرڻ: Long press the POWER BUTTON (8) to turn the CD player on or off. The POWER INDICATOR LIGHT (2) will glow green when the device is on.

1. Open the CD compartment door using the switch (6).
2. Carefully place a CD (CD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3 discs are supported) onto the spindle, label side up.

7. Adjust volume using the +VOLUME KNOB (13) and -VOLUME KNOB (14).
8. Press the STOP KEY (11) to stop playback.

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB CARD socket (5) or a TF card into the TF CARD socket (4).
2. Short press the M FUNCTION SWITCH KEY (15) to select either 'USB' or 'TF' mode.
3. The device will automatically begin playing MP3 or WMA music files from the inserted storage.
4. Use the playback controls (9, 10, 11, 12) and volume knobs (13, 14) as you would for CD playback.
5. The device supports breakpoint memory, resuming playback from where you left off even after power failure or card removal.

The EXP5608 features a high-speed Bluetooth 5.0 chip, supporting both receiving and transmitting audio.

Bluetooth Reception (Speaker Mode)

1. Short press the M FUNCTION SWITCH KEY (15) until 'BT' or 'Bluetooth' appears on the LCD display. The device is now in Bluetooth reception mode and discoverable.
2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, search for and connect to 'Philips EXP5608'.
3. Once connected, audio from your paired device will play through the EXP5608's speakers.
4. Use the paired device or the EXP5608's controls for playback and volume.
5. To exit Bluetooth reception, press and hold the M FUNCTION SWITCH KEY (15).

Bluetooth Transmission (Headphone/Speaker Mode)

1. Ensure the device is playing audio from CD, USB, or TF card.
2. Short press the BLUETOOTH TRANSMISSION KEY (16) to enter Bluetooth transmission mode. The device will search for nearby Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
3. Put your Bluetooth headphones/speakers into pairing mode.
4. Once connected, the audio from the EXP5608 will be transmitted to your external Bluetooth device.
5. To exit Bluetooth transmission, long press the BLUETOOTH TRANSMISSION KEY (16).
