1. Open the battery magazine by sliding the latch.
2. Insert one or two LP-E6N battery packs into the magazine, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Close the battery magazine securely.

6.2. Attaching the Battery Grip to the Camera

6.3. Removing the Battery Grip

7. Operating the Battery Grip

The BG-E21 provides duplicate controls for comfortable vertical shooting:
