6. Test for tightness: The base should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

Using Vehicle Seat Belt:

1. Place the car seat base rear-facing on the vehicle seat.

4.2. Attaching the Infant Car Seat Carrier to the Base

1. Align the infant car seat carrier with the installed base.
2. Lower the carrier onto the base until it clicks securely into place.

5.1. Securing Your Child in the Harness
