1. Basic Color Measurement

2. Color Comparison (QC Testing)

1. First, measure a "Standard" color by placing the device on the standard sample and selecting "Scan Standard".
2. Next, measure a "Sample" color by placing the device on the sample to be compared and selecting "Scan Sample".
3. The device will display the color difference (ΔE*ab) between the standard and the sample, along with color bias indications (e.g., "Slight black", "Slight green") to guide adjustments.
4. The QC mode simplifies batch inspection by indicating "PASS" or "FAIL" based on predefined thresholds.

3. Using Built-in Color Charts

The LS172 includes multiple electronic color charts (e.g., PANTONE, NCS, RAL). After a color scan, the device will automatically match the closest color codes from the selected chart. You can switch between different color charts via the "Color Chart" setting on the screen.

4. Saving and Managing Colors

Measured colors can be saved directly onto the device. This allows for building custom color charts and eliminates the need for physical paper color charts, preventing fading issues. Saved colors can be easily retrieved and managed.

5. Using Mobile App and PC Software

Connect the LS172 to your mobile device or PC via Bluetooth or USB. The companion software allows for:
