4.3 Output Terminal Connection

1. Connect the positive (+) lead of your load to the red output terminal.
2. Connect the negative (-) lead of your load to the black output terminal.
3. For safety and noise reduction, connect the ground lead of your load (if applicable) to the green ground terminal.

The SPE8205 features a constant power design, allowing flexible configuration of higher voltage and current within its rated 500W power range. This means you can achieve various voltage/current combinations as long as their product does not exceed 500W. For example, you can set 80V at 6.25A or 25V at 20A.

6.2 Protection Functions (OVP, OCP, OTP, Short Circuit)

The power supply incorporates multiple protection mechanisms to safeguard both the unit and the connected load:

*Note: Ripple & Noise (Noise bandwidth 20MHz, ripple bandwidth 1MHz, connect 10uF electrolytic capacitor in parallel with 0.1uF ceramic capacitor to the output terminal for testing).
