This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of your Vector VECJ8 800A Jump Starter. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

The Vector VECJ8 is a portable jump starter designed to assist in starting most cars and trucks with engines up to V6. It also features integrated USB-C PD and USB-A ports for charging electronic devices, and a powerful LED light for illumination in low-light conditions.

5.1 Initial Charging of the Unit

Before first use, fully charge the Vector VECJ8 unit. This ensures optimal performance and extends battery life.

1. Connect the home charger to the charging port on the jump starter unit.
2. Plug the home charger into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
3. The battery status indicators will illuminate, showing the charging progress. Charge until all indicators show a full charge.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the home charger from the wall outlet and then from the jump starter unit.

It is recommended to recharge the unit every 3 months when not in use to maintain battery health.

Follow these steps carefully to jump start a vehicle:

1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is OFF and all accessories (lights, radio, etc.) are turned off.
2. Place the jump starter on a stable, flat surface near the vehicle's battery.

4. ڳنڍيو ڪارو ناڪاري (-) ڪلوamp to a non-moving metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery. Do NOT connect directly to the negative battery terminal.
5. Turn the jump starter's power switch to the ON position. The polarity indication lights will confirm correct connection (Green for correct, Red for incorrect).
6. Attempt to start the vehicle. If it does not start immediately, wait 30-60 seconds before trying again. Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds per attempt.
7. Once the vehicle starts, immediately turn the jump starter's power switch to the بند پوزيشن.

6.2 Using the USB Ports

The VECJ8 unit features both USB-C PD and USB-A ports for charging portable electronic devices.

1. Ensure the jump starter unit is sufficiently charged.
2. Connect your device's USB charging cable to the appropriate USB-C PD (25W) or USB-A (15W) port on the jump starter.
3. Press the USB button to activate the USB charging function.
4. Your device should begin charging. Disconnect your device once charging is complete.
