Always keep the pH probe tip wet. Store it in the storage cap with Bluelab pH Probe KCl Storage Solution. Never use distilled, RO, or de-ionized water, as this will damage the probe.
It is recommended to calibrate pH meters at least every 30 days, or whenever you suspect readings are inaccurate. Conductivity (EC) probes normally do not require calibration but should be cleaned regularly.
If the probe tip dries out, hydrate it by soaking it in KCl storage solution for 24 hours. After hydration, clean and calibrate the probe to check if it has suffered permanent damage.
Remove the shroud and place a few drops of Bluelab Conductivity Probe Cleaner on the probe face. Rub vigorously with a chamois or finger, then rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all traces of cleaner.
'Or' stands for Over Range, meaning the solution exceeds the measurement max. 'Ur' stands for Under Range, meaning the solution is below the measurement min.
